The purpose for establishing the University is to meet the increasing demands for quality tertiary education in Edo State in particular and Nigeria in general.

EDSU was established in 2014 with the mission being a major contributor in the advancement of Knowledge, wisdom and understanding for the benefit of the University in encouraging and promoting scholarship and will relate its activities to social, cultural, and economic needs of the people of Edo State in particular, and Nigeria in general.

 This Fees applies to Fresh Student only. Old Students fees remain the same except accommodation.

MBBS Students are expected to pay an additional sum of ₦1,000,000 for Clinicals from 300 Level. (International Students $2,083)

Nursing and Medical Laboratory Science students are expected to pay an additional sum of ₦700,000 for Clinicals from 300 Level. (International Students $1,250)

How Much EDSU Acceptance Fee For 2024/2025 Session

The acceptance fee of Edo State University (EDSU) for 2024/2025 academic session for both UTME and Direct Entry candidates is Seventy Thousand Naira Only (N70,000). Kindly be informed that all newly admitted candidate are to pay the fees before stipulated period, Failure to meet the deadline might lead to the termination of admission.

Once you pay the acceptance fee, You will be required to pay for other fees like school fees, departmental and faculty fees, accommodation fees, So get yourself prepared to pay for this miscellaneous expenses.

2. Click on “check admission status”
3. If your admission status is updated, that is, you have been offered admission. You will be provided with a link to pay your acceptance fee.
4. Click on the link and proceed to pay your acceptance

EDSU Hostel Accommodation Fee

The hostel accommodation of Edo State University (EDSU) for 2024/2025 session ranges between N110,000 to N250,000 and it is compulsory for all students. International student are to pay $500 to $1,000

How To Pay EDSU Hostel Accommodation Fees

1 Visit the school portal via https://www.edouniversity.edu.ng
2 Login using your Matric Number/ JAMB Registration number and password.
3 Follow the necessary required steps to make payment.
4 Print out the online slip as proof of payment and take it to the student affairs unit of the school for proper documentation and hostel allocation.

PAYMENT OF FEES

A minimum first instalment of 60% for ALL Courses must be paid before clearance while the balance must be paid in the first week of the second semester.

There is a Learning Management System (LMS) fee of:

• ₦40,000 for Students
• ₦30,000 for Parents (optional)
