In Nigeria, after graduating from the university or any other tertiary institution, you are expected to embark on the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). Though it is not compulsory but it is necessary as a graduate in Nigeria. It is part of the services you owe Nigeria as a country.

Now, JPTS University is an institution which was introduced years but does not have the shape of the Nigerian regular Universities. It is designed to run both online and offline programmes for registered students.

However, over the years new things have been introduced into the JPTS University system so it would be compatible with other Nigerian universities even as it maintains its own shape as an online educational platform.

One of the questions people still as is what I’m about to answer now.

Do JPTS students go for NYSC?

Yes, JPTS students go for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) after graduation from the university. They take the same procedures taken by students from the regular Nigerian universities. All you need to do is to ensure you meet all NYSC criteria and also register for it.

According to the JPTS official Facebook page, the institute has procured more than 15,000 students who have gone for the NYSC and are doing pretty well in their areas of studies both within and outside Nigeria. Therefore, JPTS University students go for NYSC.
