There is an Important Notice for all NYSC Members Deployed to some Northern Nigeria 2022 Batch ‘B’ Stream 1 Prospective Corps Members deployed to Sokoto, Kebbi, and Zamfara State are instructed to immediately log on to their dashboards and reprint their Call-up letters as there has been a transformation in their opening date of the Orientation Course.
All affected Prospective Corps Members are to note that the beginning date is now switched to Sunday 19th June 2022.

Kebbi – NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Dakingari, Suru Local Government Area, Kebbi state.
Sokoto – NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Wamakko, Wamakko Local Government Area, Sokoto State.
No fewer than 3000 NYSC members are anticipated for the 2022 Batch ‘B’ orientation training at Wamakko NYSC permanent orientation camp in Sokoto State alone.
NYSC Brief History
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is an agenda set up by the Nigerian government around the military power to implicate Nigerian graduates in nation-building and the growth of the country.
NYSC was founded on 22 May 1973 as an artery for the reconciliation and reconstruction of the country after the civil war. It was launched based on ruling No. 24 which declared that the project was made with a view to the right motivation and development of common connections among the youths of the nation and the rise of national unity.
Corps members are assigned to states other apart from their state of birth where they are predicted to mix with individuals from different ethnical groups, and social and home backgrounds, and understand the culture of the indigenes in the place they are assigned to. This motion is desired at obtaining about unity in the nation and support for the youths enjoy other ethnic groups.
